We organise trips to Misiones, Argentina once a year during the British winter. From November to April the average temperature in the Misiones tropical jungle is 25 degrees.
We arrange the flights from Europe to Argentina, a connecting flight to Misiones, accommodation and transport. We also organise a nature trek guide, who is an expert on Butterflies and Moths, to enable us to enjoy the various wildlife within the most amazing and unspoilt tropical jungle area in the world.

What does Misiones offer?
The waterfall system consists of 275 falls along 2.7 km (1.7 mi) of the Iguazú River. The Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diablo in Spanish) is 82-meter-high, 150-meter-wide and 700-meter-long (490 by 2300 feet) cataract, is the most impressive of all, and marks the border between Argentina and Brazil. Two-thirds of the falls are within Argentine territory.

Iguazú Falls
The junction of the water flows marks the border between Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. There are points in the cities of Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, Puerto Iguazú, Argentina, and Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, which have access to the Iguazú River where the borders of all three countries can be seen, a popular tourist attraction for visitors to the three cities.

Iguazú National Park
The fauna of the park includes several endangered species for example Jaguar, Jaguarundi, South American Tapir, Ocelot, Happy Eagel and the Yacare Caiman. There are a 450 species of exotic birds, over 700 species of butterflies and over 1400 species of moths. There is an organized ecological train trip and walkways through paths throughout the park.

This would take at least a whole day to visit. There are other activities such as going under the falls in a special raft. If you wish to see the falls from the top, you can hire a helicopter ride.

Who would you travel with?
My name is Nigel South; I have been a lepidopterist for over 30 years. I will be with you all the time showing you the natural beauty this place has to offer. I have lived in Argentina for nearly 3 years, and speak enough Spanish to get by and I have travelled extensively throughout the country, but the most stunning area I have visited is Misiones.
